Dr. Aoki has extensive experience in both clinical practice and research in the field of neuropsychiatry. His work focuses on understanding developmental disorders, stress responses, and exploring new approaches to mental health support.

With Dr. Aoki’s appointment, we will further strengthen the medical validity and ethical foundation of our business, establishing an even more trustworthy and secure service structure.

Dr. Aoki graduated from the University of Tokyo, Faculty of Medicine, and completed his doctoral studies in neuropsychiatry at the Graduate School of Medicine, University of Tokyo.

After his initial clinical training at the University of Tokyo Hospital, he gained experience in the Department of Psychiatry and the Emergency & Critical Care Department.
Following completion of his graduate studies, he conducted psychiatric research at New York University Langone Medical Center as a JSPS Overseas Research Fellow. Upon returning to Japan, he worked at the Institute for Developmental Disorders at Showa University (now Showa Medical University), engaging in both clinical and neuroimaging research, and has published numerous papers in international journals.

In 2022, he founded Aoki Clinic, which now employs nine physicians (full- and part-time) and provides care to over 800 patients annually.
He is also involved in occupational health and corporate mental wellness programs through Cognifort Inc., overseeing corporate mental health support and online cognitive behavioral therapy.
Dr. Aoki’s work spans medicine, industry, and research.

In recent years, he has led international research teams in the UK, the US, and Italy, publishing in leading journals such as The American Journal of Psychiatry.
